Burdette Ketchum Advances to National ADDY® Awards

Agency awarded ADDYs for variety of B-to-B initiatives in print, digital and mixed media

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Burdette Ketchum has been awarded two Gold ADDY® Awards and two Silver ADDY® Awards at the American Advertising Federation (AAF) 4th District ADDY Competition held in Miami. A variety of work by the agency competed with nearly 1,200 entries from 18 local chapters in Florida and the Caribbean. Burdette Ketchum's four district wins will compete at the national ADDY Awards this summer.

"It is especially gratifying to have a variety of our work in print, digital and mixed media recognized at a state level and proceed to the national stage," said Patrick Golden, Burdette Ketchum creative director and principal.

Burdette Ketchum’s 2011 AAF 4th District wins include:

  • A Gold ADDY in website design for Harbinger (formerly Quality Sign), a national sign engineering and manufacturing firm
  • A Gold ADDY in development of a conservation brochure for Rayonier, a leading international forest products company.
  • A Silver ADDY in website design for Perdue (formerly Perdue Office Interiors), an innovative workplace solutions provider and office furniture retailer.
  • A Silver ADDY a Harbinger mixed-media campaign (including logo and brand concepting, website design, brochure development, promotional tools and print ad).

All four winning initiatives were developed for business-to-business (B-to-B) companies, or those marketing their products and services directly to other businesses.

"B-to-B companies have many unique communications challenges and opportunities, and their need for creative solutions is no less than a B-to-C marketer's. Our firm has honed the ability to understand each B-to-B client’s audience and help them identify and meet their specific marketing objectives," said Golden.

Conducted at AAF chapters throughout the country, the ADDYs receive an estimated 40,000 entries annually and are the world's largest advertising competition. More than 1,500 finalists from around the country will compete in the national ADDY Awards, to be judged May 6-7 in Washington, D.C. National winners will be presented at the National ADDY Awards Show in San Diego June 4 held in conjunction with the AAF National Conference.
