Burdette Ketchum Takes Home Five Gold ADDY® Awards for Leading Jacksonville-Headquartered Clients
Marketing communications firm wins total of 10 advertising-industry excellence awards
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Burdette Ketchum works with clients across the country, but the marketing consulting and communications firm takes a special satisfaction in helping businesses in its "hometown" of Jacksonville develop award-winning advertising materials. The agency won five Gold ADDY® Awards and five Silver ADDY® Awards – all for well-established, for-profit organizations headquartered in Jacksonville – at this year's ADDY Awards Gala presented by AAF Jax, the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF).
"Our winning work was completed for proven, leading companies that are deeply rooted in Northeast Florida and have been an important part of our business community for many years, from two decades to almost a century," said Patrick Golden, Burdette Ketchum creative director and principal. "We are very proud to help them communicate with a range of business and consumer audiences globally."
Held annually, the ADDY Awards honor advertising excellence in all media. Burdette Ketchum was awarded Gold-level ADDYs, the highest level offered, for four clients: Harbinger (formerly Quality Sign), Perdue (formerly Perdue Office Interiors), Predator Cues (a Predator Group brand) and Rayonier.
Burdette Ketchum's 2011 Gold ADDY® Award-winning work:
- Harbinger: Website design
- Perdue: Website design
- Predator Cues: P3 Exotics Web page design
- Predator Cues: Alchemy print advertisement development
- Rayonier: Conservation brochure development
"It is an honor to have the work for our clients recognized by our peers," said Golden. "The friendly competition pushes us each year, and helps the local advertising industry as a whole grow even stronger by featuring excellent creative concepts."
In addition to Burdette Ketchum's Gold-level wins, the agency also was presented with five Silver ADDY Awards for additional work completed for the aforementioned clients. The Gold ADDY winners are entered into the regional AAF 4th District ADDY Competition, which will be held this spring. Conducted at AAF chapters throughout the country, the ADDYs receive an estimated 40,000 entries annually and are the world's largest advertising competition.
